Some Questions on Your Credit Card Use
60It’s Christmas season and credit card use is on the rise again.
According to an article from moneyextra.com, credit card use actually increases during the Christmas season. I guess this is pretty obvious considering that this is the time when a lot of people are buying Christmas gifts (for others and for themselves), Christmas food, fireworks (for the New Year), new clothes, etc., etc. This is the season when I see my friends and former officemates ‘max out’ their credit card limits. Suffice it to say that after this, it’s back to worrying how they will pay all that debt.
So in memory of all these times when I hear people say they have managed to accumulate a large credit card debt during the Christmas season and that they don’t know how they will pay everything off, I thought about putting up this hub to gather some data from my dear readers. Don’t worry about giving your answers, I will not turn them over to the credit card company (LOL), neither will I sell them to the highest bidder (double LOL). I just basically want to find out the spending habits of the people here in HubPages and how they use their credit cards during this Christmas season. I hope you will indulge me by answering my questions.

I voted, but have been a good boy as of late (as far as credit cards are concerned). I'm doing my best to pay int off, little by little. I really have one just for emergencies, like airfare, car rental, parts for my car, etc. I believe that all of us should have at least one and I don't mean debit cards. They are NOT the same! Great survey, Emie. Do I get a free cuppa or a lollipop for participating? LOL
I found very tempting and adding up. I stopped. Thank you for your excellent hub
Superbe hub, Emievil. I also wanted to say CONGRATULATION to you for been one of the winners 2009. You really deserv it. I wish you a Verry Happy New Year my dear lovely friend. To and all your loved ones.:D
Waiting for final result of this credit cared survey in hubpages....Nice work
Thanks for the tips about credit repair on your web-site. The thing I would advice people would be to give up the mentality they will buy at this moment and pay back later. As a society all of us tend to do that for many things. This includes getaways, furniture, and items we want. However, it is advisable to separate your wants out of the needs. When you are working to raise your credit ranking score you really have to make some trade-offs. For example you are able to shop online to save cash or you can go to second hand outlets instead of costly department stores for clothing.

I think the survey lacks something emievil hehehe I don't rely on credit cards it is a trap and very taxing too, I prefer buying in cash... By the way this is a great Hub I am skipping the voting and leave it to others... Happy New Year my dear emie!!!
